Our Story

I’ve been blessed with big feet that need to be embraced, respected and loved as they have a big job to do. After 21 years in the UK Fire Service and more years that I care to mention working as a Painter & Decorator, my feet and I will put 30 plus years of moaning to good use. I have to say that my feet are not the prettiest, but have served me well and over the years seemed to have changed shape and developed a character all of their own. How many of us have been squeezing into socks that are too small for us? Mr/s Average is getting much better value for money – more cloth under foot and greater comfort. It’s time that we changed that. But wait, surely there are big socks on the market? Of course there are but they are usually add-ons to core sizes & boring and that’s when they are in stock to boot!
